More Junior Achievement fun!

Mrs. Kopling came back to visit our class today and we discussed the difference between a deposit and a withdrawal. The class played a group game where they were given different real life scenarios. In the end, they saw what happens if they keep spending and don't save or earn any money. The lesson of the day was: Don't spend money that you don't have! They did a great job practicing keeping track of their spending and saving with their own check register.

Green Bay Gambler Visit!

We had 2 Green Bay Gambler players come to visit our room this morning. They read 2 fractured fairy tales to us. The class was also able to ask them questions. They did a great job reminding our students that no matter what their dreams or aspirations are, they need to work hard in school!

March Madness!

Our third grade team is doing our own variation of March Madness. Since we have been reading so many fairy tales and fractured fairy tales, we are doing a fairy tale bracket! All of the 3rd graders will be responding in a google form about which fairy tales they prefer. We will tally the results in order to move fairy tales forward into the Elite 8 and Final 4 until we find our winner! Visit our hallway to check out our bracket when voting begins or ask your child for updates!

Junior Achievement and DEAR!

What a busy day we had today! Not only did we have our first class of Junior Achievement, but we also dropped everything to read as a school!

During Junior Achievement, the class learned about the importance of a city planner. We learned about the 5 different city zones and what types of businesses would be found in that zone. They then go their own business and we created our class city.

The class also had a lot of fun dropping everything and reading!
