Research Lessons with Mrs. Higgins!

We are beginning our final informational writing unit for the year. We have studied biographies during our reading time, and now the class has chosen a person that they would love to learn more about. They are going to be creating a writing piece with their partner using google slides about their individual. Today we spent our morning in the library learning about the online catalog and online resources our library has to offer. We also learning about citing our sources and how very important it is to give credit to the person who wrote the books we are using.

The third graders are extremely excited to learn more about their individuals! We have everyone from George Washington to Jane Goodall. Even Alexander Fleming, Michael Jordan, Dr. Seuss, and Neil Armstrong made the list!
